From the Eucharist to the Trinity, Author: M. V. Bernadot

The Christian is a sower of joy; and for this he does great things. Joy is one of the most irresistible powers in the world: calms, disarms, conquers, drags. The happy soul is an apostle: it draws men to God, manifesting to them what the presence of God produces in them. This is why the Holy Spirit gives us this advice: never be afflicted, because joy in God is your strength (Nehemiah 8, 10)

1 Corinthians 12, 1-3

Now in regard to spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware.
You know how, when you were pagans, you were constantly attracted and led away to mute idols. Therefore, I tell you that nobody speaking by the spirit of God says, "Jesus be accursed." And no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the holy Spirit.

Romans 8, 26-30

In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because it intercedes for the holy ones according to God's will.

We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified.
